The double hip conservatory is traditionally built on bungalows or properties that do not allow enough room against the external wall enough space to create a pitch for the conservatory roof. They typically have a box gutter section along at least on side of the conservatory. Due to the composition of the conservatory roof, the double hip conservatory gives the feel of a truly separate building from the main property, mainly as there is none of the original property wall on show in the conservatory.
In some cases a Lean to conservatory roof can be replaced with a double hip roof achieving the effect of an extension type of feel. Again once your roof has been converted to a SupaLite tiled system, the result is a vaulted, almost ‘dome’ like plastered ceiling.
As with all Polar installations of the SupaLite conservatory roof system, you have a choice of Metrotile or Tapco tile finish both available in a range of colours to suit your property.
